JASON ASH was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer August 1st 2008 and sits on the Board of Directors. Prior to joining PHLI in January 2008 Jason worked for Cadbury Schweppes, Mars and Unilever in various positions around the world. Commercial life began with a start up media company at university, progressed to Accountancy training at Unilever and then quickly across in to Marketing and General Management. Passionate about sports in general, Jason played Rugby professionally at the end of his student days in the UK and South Africa but since then has focused on various endurance disciplines and can list multiple marathons, Ironmans and ultra distance kayaking events around the world amongst his accomplishments. STEPHEN P. KUCHEN is currently Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary and has been since September 2004. Steve had previously also served as Chief Operating Officer and a Director of PHLI since starting here in February 2000. Prior to joining PHLI, Steve served as Director of Finance and Controller for both public companies (Able Laboratories) and private companies (Jerhel Plastics). Throughout his career, Steve has developed the strengths of sound cash management, clean balance sheets, and strong vendor relationships in industrial, commercial organizations. A sports fanatic, Steve has participated in numerous men’s softball tournaments throughout the East Coast in his adult life. Steve now avidly participates in cardio and weight training workouts.

FRED DUFFNER joined PHLI in August 2008 as SVP Sales. Before joining, Fred directed his own sales and marketing company (Duffner & Associates) focusing on the diet, nutrition, and HBC categories servicing several clients inclusive of NutriSystem Inc.. Fred has spent his whole career in the CPG category with a focus on sales, marketing, and customer development, and led the sales organizations at both Atkins Nutritional and Revlon. Fred is an avid bike rider and participates in numerous long distance charity events.

MATT SPOLAR was appointed to the role of Vice President, Product Development & Supply Chain in January 2008 and later to the role of Vice President, Innovation in January 2009. Prior to PHLI, Matt spent over eight years trying to ease the pain of America's ever-growing waistlines at Atkins Nutritionals where he helped build three branded portfolios which have generated over $1bn in revenue. Classically trained as a food scientist, commercially trained as a market analyst, Matt loves to identify consumer opportunities and ultimately develop creative solutions with a nimble, can-do style. Though not the fastest person in the world, Matt enjoys long distance running intermingled with intense sprint workouts (otherwise known as chasing after his young son, Luke).

TOM WIENER joined PHLI in September of 2007 and is currently Vice President of Operations. Tom brings with him broad based experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to drive operational efficiencies while delivering exceptional quality and service levels to the customer. Prior to joining PHLI, Tom held manufacturing and purchasing positions with several major packaged goods companies including Bristol Myers and Church & Dwight. In each of these positions, Tom has established a long, proven and steady record of managing cost and optimizing working capital. While Tom brings these capabilities to PHLI, his true passion is consistently delivering quality products that meet the demanding standards and expectations of our customers. Tom is a hands on manager who is as comfortable on the manufacturing floor as he is a member of our senior management team.
